So.... I meant to publish this way too long ago, so here it is. Pics are pretty low res, but are pretty all the same. The gorgeous Melly and Alvin. Looking forward to attending their engagement party, not this weekend, but the next!

Carmen and Rob I

I met Carmen and Rob on a cruise, some two years ago. At first meeting both are a little shy, but both incredibly sweet and Rob is such a joker. They are so both beautifully in love and I hope that even a glimpse of that has been caught.

Their wedding was the first wedding I have got to shoot with my new 5D, so I was a little bit nervous (as a result I dropped my flash and broke the reflector, ah!) but super excited. Carmen has the most amazingly beautiful, classic style. Having been a bride I can appreciate all that went into their wedding, I am sure Carmen spent hours scouring stores for perfect accessories. Spent hours cutting and folding the 'Carmen and Rob' brand collateral. In the exact style I LOVE!

The ceremony was a beautiful, simple, family occasion. With her Dad by her side and her best friend Kyra, they meandered down the rainforest path over a stone bridge and into an open air rainforest amphitheatre. Rob standing there with his Dad as his best man (also a huge joker) he did not even fight back the tears. I think I will have to get used to weddings because I began to get a little teary.

A moment in September

It's been a while since I posted; and will continue to be a bit irregular. SO busy! I started the new job on Monday; so I have survived my first week - and loved it. I was received with a welcome morning tea and a beautiful bunch of flowers (including my favourite lilies).

The week flew on by, and Friday night Josh and I had dinner with Gracie and Jase at Cha Cha Char. We actually kind of accidentally arrived there. The boys were very impressed with their wagyu beef and Gracie and I sipped on yummy cocktails.

On Saturday Josh and I went for a bike ride, I later went in to the Brisbane botanical gardens to take some pics of Gracie's brother Alvin and his gorgeous fiance Melly (on my new 5D!!!!). A very full day, and a rush home to get ready for Gracie's engagement party. The place looked beautiful, and it was so good getting everyone together to celebrate Gracie & Jason's engagement! Congrats to two of my favourite people!

Today Josh and I went to the beach and cruised around the bike tracks on our new bikes. We did over 12 kms... I will probably feel it tomorrow!
